Well, I moved to Erie County for family reasons. Got a nice little house more in the country than our San Antonio house (which was country-ish) but now is total burbs and traffic. The move was for personal family reasons, so that is immune for gun world critiques. The area is nice, we used to live here. Met some good gun folks.
In any case, I ditched my standard AR. I brought a shotgun, Ruger 9mm carbine, 10/22 - all compliant with 10 round mags for the latter two. I bought a Mini-14 (stainless, black stock with a neat scope). But I feel the AR itch. The options are a standard looking AR but with a fixed magazine (yuk) or a 10 round removable one - lhttps://ddsranch.com/smith-wesson-m-p-15-sport-ii-5-56mm-223-rem-new-york-state-safe-act-legal-featureless-ar-15-type-rifle/
Doesn't look attractive but my question is does it work? I'm klutz with the Mini-14, esp. seating a mag - need more practice.
So is the latter weird AR any good. Does it run?
Thanks for the input. Yes, I will take editorial comment on how could you do this while I eat a beef on weck.
