Not is some of the places I’ve lived. Traffic circles/Rotaries/Round Abouts seem to be all about eye contact and nose position. If it looks like they are slightly ahead of you, or do not see you, then you must yield. Which led to much hilarity involving, “I no see you!” And driving straight through with no flinch. Bonus points for lane changes inside the roundabout.

In my town in northern Nevada rotaries are common and people tend to be quite polite drivers in general; it’s very refreshing. To get to my sister-in-laws house in California I have to go through a little one lane rotary that has a stop sign at the entrance. Damn that chaps my ass every time I go through it.
At the time of its discovery in 1986, the Elephant's Foot was emitting 8,000 röntgen/hour, or enough radiation that five minutes of exposure has a 50/50 chance of killing you (according to Google). Needless to say, 8,000 röntgen immediately would be pretty lethal and I don't know why I'd want to expose any of my friends to that.
