No real complaints with my current situation, just thinking if it burns longer I can use less and have to keep less stockpiled around... More concerned with logistics than cost, really.

Not really looking to be "converted" back to lump, so we can save that argument.
I ran it once in my Weber smoker and was pleased with the performance. Definitely noticed a slower burn rate. I'd use again.

    New Pellet Smoker

Well I just jumped head first into the pellet world. I could've bought a KAC...

Overall the family is very pleased with the MAK. It's built like a tank and puts out more smoke than any other pellet cooker I have seen or used. Also, the cold smoke box is AWESOME.

    Congrats! How'd the cheese go?

My WFH lunch today was some sockeye salmon. We've got a group chat going for work lunches now and I think it's a fish week.

The cheese was awesome, it was smokier than I anticipated.

The Covid work from home policy has been awesome for smoking.

Strange to say but we've been eating better than normal since we dont have commutes and can monitor the grill/oven/smoker

I think I'm about to start looking for more stuff to throw on there for that exact reason. I'm sitting 20ft from my smoker right this minute so I see no reason not to be cooking something on it.

I've got a Stampede and love it. For me it punches well above it's weight.
