Striker control devices are why I own Glocks in preference to any other striker-fired gun. TLG and Tom did a good thing bringing this into existence.

    What they said. ^^^.

I specifically waited to buy a Gen 5 Glock until the SCD was released for the G5.

On topic: Nice shooting. I’m always pleasantly surprised how accurate my G26.5 is out to 25 yds, if I do my part.

Off topic: who cut your slide serrations?

The Gen5 26 is the first 26 I've liked. Mine's all covered in "Austria" but it must have enough domestic content to not need finger grooves or trigger serrations anymore.

I can explain it to you. I can’t understand it for you.

Tam, your pieces in Shooting Illustrated are pretty much the only reason I don't click "no magazine" on the NRA member services website. FWIW.
There's nothing civil about this war.

    Sold my Shield.

Can anyone talk me out of buying a 26.5 Bold today instead of waiting for SHOT 2019?

Other option would be to buy a holster for my 2.0 Compact and start EDC that.

If you like ten rounds and small, you might hold off to SHOT.
