Picked up this NOS 3rd Gen S&W model 5924. Full-size alloy frame with full-size slide. These have the frame mounted de-cocker much like the Sig’s. Not many out there and only produced in ’90-’91.
Anybody know of any agencies or departments that issued these or the stainless 5926 or 6926?
I know parts are hard to come by and most will say I should of just got a 226. I’m just a sucker to 3rd Gens I guess.

The first auto pistol I ever fired was a 5926 my cousin was issued by our local Sheriff's Office. Their standard issue was the 5906 but for whatever reason he got a 5926. That's an awesome score!
A S&W 5903 was my first pistol. I had tried to find a 5924 at the time but they were super rare. Nice score! Where'd you find a NOS one?
