    And my 1962 ejects like it has a bad internal extractor... which it does.
    Anyone know of anyone who has those in stock?

    Oh, that's a tough one. I checked out the usual suspects, which I'm sure you have... BHSS, eBay, Gunbroker... no luck. You could email BHSS... maybe they could tell you.

    This hammer bit me each shot. Three magazines of three rounds each, and I was done. Also, while the C&S safety was very positive, the lever is much shorter than an extended 1911 safety, and even noticeably shorter than the factory MKIII safety lever.

    C&S no-bite hammer.....which I should've picked in the first place, but aesthetics and all. Went back with the MKIII safety.

    And a happy hand after 91 rounds of 124 grain FMJ and 15-16 rounds of 115 grain Remington left over from qualifications.

    My Hi-Power is going to start getting carried again. Now to try out a couple of the Apex magazines.

    I found that the BHPSS SFS hammer is also pretty much bite free.
