The Geissele MK1 Mod 0 MRGG-S is for Naval Special Warfare. The KAC is in use by USASOC. The two components of SOCOM have been running different Sniper systems for a while. NSW never got the M110 rifles so they had to run a solicitation for new guns to replace their MK20s rather than just buying uppers like USASOC.
