The discussion of .22 for defense was part of his act when I saw him perform. I don't recall how he led into it, but as soon as he mentioned .22, this one guy in the audience started laughing before a punchline had even been reached. Of course I'm paraphrasing, but Burr basically said, "See? See what I mean? As soon as you mention a .22 some idiot starts laughing at you like you're a sissy." (I'm sure the real words were much more profane)

The tour is notable for the Philadelphia incident where comedian Bill Burr went on a 12 minute tirade attacking the audience after the previous act, Dom Irrera, was heckled heavily by the crowd.

I have nothing against Philly, but there's something amazing about ripping on people so hard that they actually cheer for you.
