Bad news all around.
Prayers out.
Okie John
I got to spend some range time with Walt many years ago. He was an absolute gentleman and a wealth of knowledge.
His book was fantastic.

Prayers sent that he makes a full and complete recovery.
I was fortunate to spend 4 days w/ Walt, long ago when Thunder Ranch was still in Texas.
He was one of the AI's for my class, and as fate had it Walt & I bonded due to a common trait we shared.
As others already stated, he had much experience, mostly on the LE side w/ the USSS & IIRC the Phila. PD. Some of his experiences/TTPs shared during those 4 days still serve me well & for that I remain indebted to him.
Here's hoping this was not a major/debilitating event but either way I'll keep a good thought for my friend.
