I missed the +/- $10 part. That gets you Knob Creek.

Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve at 120 proof is very good. I just opened a store pick that is excellent!

I also finally got around to getting a bottle of Old Grand Dad 114. It's a pretty good bourbon for under $30 but it won't replace Henry McKenna 10 for me.

I'm drinking on a store pick right now too. It's great shit.

This is the bourbon thread, please don't fuck any shovels in here. It's bad enough we already let the rye drinkers in, please don't anyone tell the Irish Whiskey peeps we're here.

We've had an Icepocolypse here in MI and I've been doing the Lord's work as a property manager for far, far too many -40F degree hours this week. As I ghosted through the grocery store picking up last minute items from today's honey-do list, I passed a display of Bulleit ($29.99) and a bottle nigh onto lept into my cart. My body knew it needed bourbon tonight, even if my mind was no longer capable of planning that far ahead.

WTH old Phart? First Rittenhouse Rye and now Henry McKenna? I’m starting to think we must be related somehow [emoji1]

You ever drink any Scotch or Gin?

    I can pee outside.
I got this about a month ago.
    Anyone else try it yet?

    Slight sweetness, nice finish.
Only have had it over ice.

I do drink Scotch but I'm not a gin drinker.

I'm a fan of peat so mainly Islay and Talsiker 10 so far.

Take your Glencairn glass, rinse and re-peat.

My daughter was born yesterday. Second child for my wife and I, my son being almost three. Got home to rest with the little guy and discovered that a friend dropped off a bottle of bulliet bourbon. Currently sipping on it and enjoying the memories made over the past thirty hours.
