Nothing so needs reforming as other people's habits - Mark Twain
Tact is the knack of making a point without making an enemy / Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge?
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.
As a little boy, my parents sat me down in front of the TV to watch Popeye, my favorite cartoon. Instead a baseball game ran over. I opined: Oh, F***.
I was sent to bed with no supper, even though it was early afternoon. As an aside, as a little boy, I was wearing two Colt SAA cap guns watching Hopalong Cassidy. The bad guys were going to ambush Hoppy. I drew my six gun and pitched it at the screen, yelling to leave Hoppy alone. Parental wrath ensued. Today we have interactive games. In those days, we had Winky-Dink. It was a plastic sheet you put over the screen, at times you drew something like a bridge with crayons to help the characters. Sometimes, kids forgot the crayons. Parental displeasure.
