I'm curious if the resell, at a big loss, of Ballast Point will start to turn that around.

I don't know but it would be welcome, imho. I can't relate to the zillion and one offerings from InBev, MillerCoors, Heineken et al. I like to drink and support the beers from the independent companies. Granted, some like Sierra Nevada are not small operations, but the quality of their offerings speaks for itself, imho.

Anyway, enjoy those beers and ales safely over the holidays, my friends!

Grabbed a six pack of Starr Hill Brewery Mariah passion fruit gose at Wegmans this morning. ABV 4.7 % I’ll have one later tonight and report back.

I used to love Bass Ale. Inbev ruined it. One of England's arguably most famous beers is now brewed 10 minutes from my house at Budweiser.

It appears that Joe passed out. Must've been more than he could bear.

I like stouts and porters but I'm not a big fan of overly intense, "in your face" flavor. This is almost a bit too much to share with a meal imho as it is complex and demanding.

I've had strong ales over 10% I really have liked, and some that just don't wow me. This is one I'd probably not rush out to buy. It does get a "97" rating on BeerAdvocate though, so your mileage may vary greatly.
How’s it compare with Old Rasputin? I’m getting the RIS urge again.
