SIG P320 carry w/Streamlight TLR-7A on work days. SIG P365XL for off duty / BUG. 320 is issued and there was a local push to have FI's carry the issued gun.

I ran a Glock 17 gen 4 with X300U or TLR-1 and a J frame for about 8 years prior. J frames were de-authorized which lead me to the 365XL. The desire for an optics capable gun and having XXL hands drove the choice of the XL over the standard P365.

If he was still in service with the USBP his choices would be between a G19 Gen 5 and a G47. I’m guessing he would take a G47.

I've been carrying my P99 a lot lately.



I didn't think I'd carry it much--it's not exactly small and the slide is fairly thick. But it fits and rides very comfortably in a basic soft holster and it's actually lighter than my Kahr K9. It's kind of weirdly light--22 oz.

And it's DA/SA, accurate, reliable etc., etc.

I had kinda banked on the P239 as go-to carry platform (I have several). But I dunno... the P99 is really growing on me.
