There is literally no way I could envision trusting an Israeli gun/knife company with the claims he’s made. Maybe he’s legit, I don’t know. I’d trust Pelosi over an Israeli “defense” company.

For what it’s worth I’ve mentioned before prior to my service in the U.S Army I served in the IDF. My brother is currently serving in a special operations unit in the IDF.


The “Israeli training industry” is probably one of the most fraudulent segments of the self defense industry at large. It’s riddled with former “XYZ special operators” all with conveniently unverifiable backgrounds. Anytime I see something branded with that label I steer clear. I’m sure this isn’t new info to the people here though.

Speaking of which I do like the design. Is there anything comparable at a better price point? I was looking at the TOPS street scape 2.

Spydie Street Beat, Enuff w/ the “leaf” blade, or the Fish Hunter. I believe the Fish Hunter was one of “the blades” when Sayoc Kali and NSW first got together. You’d have to find a sheath bender to really make them work in casual wear.

Although you could play around with some DCC clips on the factory sheath and see what happens.

If I was looking for a larger fixed blade the ShivWorks Disciple would probably be it.

It's not just Israeli stuff. About anything marketed by associating it with "XYZ Special Operators" from any country is highly suspect. How many actual knife fights has your average SEAL or GB been in? Zero. I'd rather take knife advice from a guy that's been in a supermax.

If you search both Amazon and bladeHQ you will find a few designs that are very similar for a fraction of the cost.

The knife I just posted, make a cheap aluminum trainer for it and have some former spec ops dude pimp it out on social media and you could sell it for $400 easy and people would buy it.

Hyatt Gun and Knife in Charlotte had a couple of their fixed blades in the case. Hyatt is one of the better wholesalers in the city with a good assortment of CobraTec OTFs, Bechmade folders, ESEE, etc. So, I was a little surprised to see this new comer a few weeks ago. At around $200-250, they seem to be priced a little less than the MicroTech/Borka and Heretic dagger offerings that can be had right down the road at Blackstone Shooting. Moreover, they check a lot of boxes with steel and component construction along with the trainer that comes with each knife. That is to say, the G10 handles and kydex sheaths that I handled were not cheap crap.

I mainly wanted to get past all the Spartan/Hebrew warrior marketing to see if anyone has actually put their knives to the test. It looks like the answer is no. So, I may take one for the PF team and ring one out once I financially recover from my most recent DW Specialist and Sig X-five binge.
