I pulled the video up, referenced a few pages back, and dug in with a vengeance. Think I had it together and on, outside my pants, within ten minutes.
I have the holster setup and it is still in the package. When I first saw it in the package I had the same thoughts that you did, and wondered how I got through erector sets as a kid. The video looks very helpful. I will tackle putting it together it eventually.

What do you do to slide it up and down rapidly? Just adjust the belt tightness?

My personal Defcon level just got upped a notch due to recent dealings with unstable and potentially violent (ex)employees.

I wish I had the enigma set up, but until then, I rediscovered that a belt under scrubs works pretty dang well for toting a G19 all day.

Enigma came today and I am looking forward to getting the time to play with it.

Does this rig work for a 3:30-4:00 carry? Didn’t see it mentioned...

That reminds me, Mastermind Tactics/Graith has an underbelt for basically what you mentioned: Specialist Underbelt

They are also doing AIWB holsters again. I've been using one for my G17 for a couple of days and I like it.

I don’t think it will take long to get it to a point where you can use it, especially if you are already familiar with AIWB holster and how much grip rotation you need and if that causes slide printing. I had a pretty good idea of where I needed things to be based on the results I’d seen with other holsters over the years.

The leg leash was the only adjustment I had to make, and I had it pretty close ton it’s final position within an hour of taking it out of the package.

I guess your holster choice could affect that though. I’m using a phlster pro I bought specifically for this purpose since it doesn’t have adjustable retention.

    Interesting.
I discovered something quite similar with an H&K P7M8 in a homemade rig I made of a 2.25" Uncle Mike's nylon duty belt worn around the hips, with an Uncle Mike's nylon holster, under scrubs, back in 1986.

We are happy to hear that you are liking our latest holster, thank you for the support!

We just wanted to clarify to avoid any confusion that the belt you are referencing is the Specialist Covert, our Underbelt is for pairing with a duty belt or competition belt.

    My mistake

The covert is indeed the one I meant to link.

I’m so glad they’re making holsters again, seriously.
