Bri wanted a running buddy. Right now she is training to be ready for when she goes away for Army training. A week ago she and her mother came home with Duchess.
Duchess is a rescue from the Philadelphia SPCA. What a joy she's been so far, mellow, well mannered and house broken.
It is easy to see how she became a staff favorite at the shelter, why she languished there for 15 months is beyond me.
She's fit into our family insanity quite well.
