So, strangely enough, Top seems to be nearly identical to Moran. That being lovely barrel fit, and excellent quality throughout for the most part. Lots and lots and lots of white lithium grease everywhere.

SIGs are so nice. Really. They respond to a little work so nicely.

Todd forgot to send a mag, so now I have to go find one. :|

oookay. I just figured out who this Moran guy you've been talking about is. Nice. Easier to keep up now.

These guns are just gorgeous. I think it's getting neigh time to try one.

Bill, a few quick questions if you don't mind:

1: Does it appear Sig's quality has improved as of late?
2: Have you seen older guns (Late 200X's, early 201X's) with potential quality issues?
3: How would you rate build quality versus the older German built handguns?

I understand you may not want to answer, but I am just trying to get a feel for Sig nowadays... It seems a lot of sources I consider reputable had witnessed some issues compared to the older German built handguns. Perhaps Sig is starting to recover and re-earn their reputation?

I'm surprised SIG doesn't just put a Zerk fitting in the grips and fill it full of grease.

Dave, I'd bet money on that stuff being regular old white lithium grease based on look, smell and feel.
