New P365, fired 100 rounds, is this normal wear?

Just returned from the range where I put 100 rounds through a new P365. The handgun ran flawlessly but I’m noticing some wear marks on the barrel hood that I’m unfamiliar with. This P365 is intended as a spare to my primary P365 CCW which has 1,000 rounds through it and zero marks on the barrel hood. I did clean and oil this P365 prior to shooting it.

    Should I be concerned?

    I've got 3 365 / Xl's with a couple extra barrel's / slide's.
That's more front to back wear than mine show but,
if it runs good, I'd just keep it lubed and run it.
After a while, you could try some cold blue on it
    if it bothers you.

Man, that looks gnarly. I know these guns are tight but geez.

I've got about 100 rounds (about 50 of 147-grain HST and about 50 of 124+P Winchester Ready Defense) through our P365 and I don't believe it looks anything like that. Will try to get a pic later.

About 1,000 rounds or more for comparison’s sake. It wouldn’t bother me as long as the pistol shot tight groups and was reliable.

I have some that look like that and some that don’t.

They all shoot the same. It’s just cosmetic.

You should see the barrel on my competition gun, lol.

I think you have me confused with someone else...I'm certainly no Sig expert.

However, it does look like a lot of wear to me for just 100 rounds.

I feel like you can't just say that and not show it with round count lol
