    Yeah that was surprising. I was watching this gun to get an idea of what CS-1s would go for now. There’s one listed right now with a starting price of $3,200.

    $500 is a good price. I bought a pristine 31-1 for $500 last year. Those are creeping up in price as people figure out that S&W will never make another 32 anything. Mine is a 60's vintage and high quality.

    There is a 640-1 for sale on a local board. They are asking $850. I don't know the sell, I just know people like these.

    That sold for a reasonable price.
    I have an exact clone, including the Tyler-T, and paid right at $500 several years ago.
    Got my copy from the original owner in like new condition with exactly 45 rounds fired.

    Yeah, no kidding on the price. I expected it to go for $75-$100 more.

    I will admit to a fascination with the things. I like the feel of them better than the 640 series.
