Got this pic yesterday at SHOT of the General Dynamics NGSW entrant.

ARX160 is 35.4" OAL w/ 16" barrel.

GD Bullpup is several inches shorter (31-32") w/ 20" barrel + suppressor. Thats really impressive.

It is.... but

Not certain that I’d want an 80000 psi cartridge going off that closed to my face.

When I talked to them, they said it was actually a long life solar powered capacitor.

A similar system is employed by the Citizen Eco Drive watch.

I don’t know if this particular one is ready for prime time but it is definitely the most interesting thing to come out of this years shot show.

Did you ask them what all three of those switches were for in the fire control group?

It looks like tilting the gun to use those offset irons would hurt.

It uses swappable forward ejection, so no concern with brass to the face.

Overall it looks like a pretty cool system.

I didn't get to ask, and actually only noticed the extra switches when re-touching the photos.

From the previous videos / write ups I've seen, I recall prototypes having a split safety / selector system. So one switch is Safe/Fire, and another switch is Semi/Full. Similar to the original STG44.

However, these switches look different then the previous prototypes shown, plus now there's a third switch.

I checked out the Blackhawk booth today. Saw their new T Series duty holsters....for guns with WMLs and RDS. Also accommodates a DG switch for the light. I can't believe I'm typing these words, but I was impressed. Solid product, very intuitive, and faster than an ALS type holster. The days of the Serpa are gone. They should have them available in about 30 days apparently. Anyone looking for a holster to meet the above criteria should give them a look.

Missed the PMO compatible part when i checked them. That is good to know.

I did. To everyone at Safariland I talked to. Tommy Campbell (very nice man, by the way) told me they are revamping the website this summer, and it should be better. No commitment to a return of Holsterops, though.
