My range is still open and still hosting competitions, but I don't know for how long. The owner's a retired cop I know and the staff are all first rate. I really hope they can weather this.
We may lose and we may win, but we will never be here again.......

Our shotgun nationals in two weeks has been postponed as have all the levels 2's at least close to me. Level 1's at the clubs I'm a member of haven't checked beyond them, but I am sure it will be similar.

I was one of the people who lobbied for the postponement of the shotgun nationals despite having been massively looking forward to it. The possible knock on effects just aren't worth the risk and it strikes me as stupid machismo to pretend otherwise.

The IDPA Tri-State Regional Championship outside Tallahassee that was scheduled for March 28th has been rescheduled for July 25th. Right up until yesterday they had been putting out consistent messages that the match was still on, the match is still on, until they finally decided to reschedule. It's a good thing, because I reckon turn-out would have been basically non-existent as it is.

From Silver State Practical Shooting Club:

In accordance with the President and the Governor of Nevada and their guidelines for businesses we are cancelling all SSPSC shooting matches until further notice. The Pro Gun Club range is also closed effective today 3/18/20 at 12:00pm. Stay Safe, and we will see you all soon
As of yesterday, per the Governor:

Only essential services should remain open, such as fire, police, transit and healthcare services, in addition to businesses that provide food, shelter or social services for disadvantaged populations. Nonessential services such as beauty shops, barbershops, nail, tanning, waxing salons should close until further notice. Only essential businesses should remain open, such as pharmacies, grocery stores, drug and convenience stores, banks and financial institutions, hardware stores, and gas stations. All gatherings should be postponed or canceled. This is not the time for sleepovers, play dates, concerts, theater outings or athletic events. Although you might not be experiencing symptoms at this time, you may be contagious. Do not risk your health or the health of others
Restaurants: Closed. Bars: Closed. Casinos: Closed.

I have an ATM company with hardly anyone using ATMs and 20 families that are depending on a paycheck. I have all my expenses, which are considerable, and am trying to figure out if I can get an emergency loan from the government.

The steel match I like in Bandera, TX shut down - one reason is that lots of the shooters are in the age risk groups.

The Kentucky Low Cap championship has been delayed to June 10th and the Kentucky Hi Cap championship has been moved up from its September date and joined with the Low Cap championship on the same date.

Miami Rifle & Pistol Club near Cincinnati has cancelled all matches (including USPSA) UFN but remains open for member use.

That's all the notices I've received so far.

Briar Rabbit's match this Sunday and Dawg Valley falling steel next Saturday are still on (no cancellation posted on their website or practiscore). Thunder Valley Precision still appears open.

    I'm going shooting this weekend.
