I have two co-workers in their mid-twenties, both of whom are in full-blown “kids these days/get off my lawn” mode. It’s hard (but not impossible) to make fun of them for it when the above (absurd Tok Tok bullshit and the like) is what generates that reaction.

When I have had students making TikToks I get all "way to create entries in the Chinese database for yourself."

Mostly I'm grateful that their were no opportunities for me to leave evidence of my stupidity on the net when I was their age.
