Just to throw it out there for for anyone not into dedicated edge in blades, I recently pulled out the ESEE Izula that I've had for a while, used a little outdoors but mostly gathering dust. Stuck it in the waistband and been using it for all my normal indoor/outdoor chores, and it's a hell of a knife. Cuts like crazy, and the included sheath is serviceable, if a little clunky. I think the next step is to strip the coating and put a little vinegar patina on it.
I'm thinking I might pick up a Cadiru to play with pocket carry in chinos and denim. Anyone have any experience with that?
Although I'll have to hide it from the lady. The other day:
Her: Did you buy yourself a second tomahawk? You barely ever take the first one down from the wall to use it.
Me: Uhhhhh, no. I bought YOU your FIRST tomahawk. As an early birthday present.
Her: You're so sweet! *grabs said tomahawk, walks away humming some Beyonce song*
I have since reclaimed it, at least for now.
