    4" GP100 in 327, the hipsterest of calibers, ending in a few hours on Gunbroker. Current bid is $860. 3" went last week for something like $1600, so I'm a little confused why this 4" is going for half the price.

    Oh yes, somewhat on the order of firing .455 PROOF LOADS with every shot, if using factory loaded .45 Auto Rim rounds. If you can ever find those. But if you roll your own, then you can load to not exceed .455 pressures. And then fire them while keeping in mind that you have no idea how many real .45 AR rounds where fired through that gun. Not sure I would want to do that.

    This is really interesting, I wonder who did the conversion. I sure wish they had made one of these in the old days and there were a gazillion on the used market. Jovino .45ACP and .44 Special "effector" was close this....
