I'd been shooting my Ruger Commander slightly to the left. The front sight, to my 51-year-old un-calibrated eyeball, appeared to be biased slightly right. I went to my LGS/range, where staff verified my assessment and whacked it left one RCH.
230 gr. GDHP @ 25 yds.
To be fair, the magazine was loaded with the last six rounds in the box, and I shanked one hard off the paper at 8 o'clock. However, I'm confident that any future accuracy issues are the fault of the operator.
Particularly since this front sight...
Looks like a sideways 8 to my eyes while I'm trying to shoot at that distance.
