Hey AIWB fans...
I've got an original JMC AIWB for my Hi Power (sans claw w/ soft loops and extra tuck). It's surprisingly comfortable, even when I sit. However, it still exhibits enough belt roll (i.e., leaning forward over the belt) to look fairly conspicuous under most T-shirts. I've been putting a wadded-up sock behind the muzzle to tuck the butt--which actually works. As far as grip tuck/rotation... the tighter the belt, the better the tuck. But it takes a pretty tight squeeze to make it totally disappear.
Looking for advice/thoughts on how to get a bit more concealability and perhaps comfort out of the setup. Here's what I'm considering:
-Foam wedge. Would order from JMC. Will the wedge still fit over the extra tuck?
-Discreet Carry Clips. From Discreet Carry Concepts. Any experience using these on similar holsters? Looks like they'd print less than the soft loops. The "Mod4 Super Shorty" variant seems like it would match the placement/ride height of the loops.
-Any kind of belt claw that could be bolted on? There's one screw on the original AIWB... and the claws all seem to have a two-screw setup. Plus, I'm not even sure a claw would engage the belt properly given the holster's wedge design.
I've got a Graith specialist belt on the way. Hoping that will be more comfortable/lower profile than my current 5.11 nylon belt.
Doesn't look like Tony is making holsters for the BHP anymore--otherwise I'd consider springing for a Wing Claw 2.0.
Thanks in advance for any advice or insight.
