    Think that Colt was wrong to go with the vent rib barrel on the Python versus the prototype barrel, but I am also a weird crank, so YMMV.

    Yeah that half lug, ribless barrel looks great to my eye but I'm also a self-admitted weird crank as well. Maybe we should form a club?

    Colt kind of went back to the no rib, half-lug barrel idea when they came out with the various MK-whatever Troopers some years later.
