    Murray Leather Co Hunter holster

I got lucky and found a used Murray Leather Hunter holster for a 4” N frame. They do not list it on their website but I emailed them a few years ago; I was told to call to order a holster. I have been wanting one these ever since I read a Ross Seyfried article 30 some years ago. The thumb break/flap holster works great as a hunting and field holster. The reverse cant works great for me. (Shoulder injury).

Oh I like that a lot.

And they don't even list "holsters" https://murraycustomleather.com/

That's a great field holster. Makes me wish I was still hunting, so I'd have an excuse for one.

Sure it wasn't Al Pickles? That is the one I remember. I might still have this magazine somewhere (page 16)...

Please report back if they still make them as they have removed it from their web site. I'd be interested in picking up another one.

Pretty sure I still have that one. I think the Ayoob Files that issue covered a fight involving an off duty Chicago area cop using a 3 or 4” 44 who engaged at least one armed robber.

Years ago I wanted one of those holsters for my 5” 629 Classic. I don’t remember why I didn’t follow through
