Tooltech Gunsight Beretta 92 Trijicon Sights install (with pin-over front sight)

Anyone with experience with this? Seems like a good option for those of us with older 92FS or 92G

Amerigun (http://www.amerigunusa.com/amerigun-sights-system/) will dovetail a standard 92 slide.

I have no firsthand experience with this, but there have been some positive reviews.

I would like to get my hands on one of their conversions to see how well it works. WE don't do it without the Vertec profile slide due to limited space for a dovetail up top on teh front.
Used to make pasta, now I make waffles.

It sounds like ToolTech actually mills down the integral front sight and then pins a Trijicon sight OVER it. I haven't confirmed this yet, but if so, it means you aren't cutting into the slide at all, just whittling down the front sight into just a post. This sounds like the only real viable way to do it if you have a standard profile 92 slide, other than the old way of just drilling out the sight and gluing in a tritium lamp.

IIRC, ToolTech Gunsight is licensed by Trijicon to do sight installs and vial installs.

Tooltech claims they can cut the slide for older installs, like mine, and install a dovetail. I’ll eventually do this on my old inox, I think. Tooltech installed the existing night sights for me somewhere in the early aughts; the front sight is drilled.

Unless I just keep using it for daytime carry and let one of my ltts serve otherwise.

I've rethunk my old-man-shaking-fist-at-clouds stance toward Obama's executive action creating the current situation.

I believe a DIY replacement of the front vial with a polished brass pin would be an excellent solution. If that's not appealing, listen to @Tom Givens and just paint the dang thing orange.
