That one would be too small, but I clicked on the link and looked around and found this. Might be a good option if the Evade doesn’t work out.

So are you going to sell the Vertx you hate? Say, at a reasonable price on P-F?

Eventually I’m sure I’ll be selling it. It may be awhile before the hassle of dealing with selling it is outweighed by the cash I’m likely to get.

I *think* I got the wrong bag.

It came in today, and it doesn't appear to be riptstop but appears to be a very similar heavy canvas like the Verx.

    mine looks like this

what I expected the bag I ordered to look like was this

I don't really care about the appearance, but was more concerned re: the weight, and the bag I received definitely "feels" heavy.
Weight approximately 3.6 pounds (1.63 kg) for the Solids and 2.8 pounds (1.27 kg) for the Ripstops
The receipt doesn't seem to indicate one way or the other.

Well that was cool! And quick!

    i Robert,

Apologies for the mistake. Looks like it was processed as the solid color gray.

I will have the correct ripstop Evade shipped out to you today with a return envelope and prepaid label.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.l

    Thank you.

    Suzy

Not sure about the ripstop one. Love that it’s lighter, Love the flexibility of the material, not sure about the aesthetics of the pattern.

I like the ripstop look and the lighter shade of grey. That's pretty great customer service though!

Man, that looks like a pretty nice bag. The ripstop one definitely does not scream tactical, which is a rare trait. If it was just a few inches taller so my SBR w/ side folder would fit, I’d have one in a heartbeat.

I’ve been searching for some way to organize my stuff inside my packs in a modular fashion with removable cells. There’s lots of options out there, but the Matroskya bags they have are definitely the best priced option I’ve seen. Going to order a set and try them out. For $20 on sale I don’t see how I can go wrong.

The Evade looks like a sweet bag. How's it stack up to the Vertx?
