I have been thinking about having one of my 1911 cut for an RMR. Then I saw that Springfield now has a few models with an RMR from the factory. So I am now a proud owner of a MC Operator 1911!

Far out. I don’t see that on Springfield’s site anywhere.

Yeah, I couldn’t find them either. I stumbled across them on Gunbroker. They must be really new, because the picture looks like the RMR is photoshopped on them. The sights on the pictures just show regular height sights instead of the taller ones. The RMR is a 1 MOA dot, which I’m not a huge fan of, but for the price point, you can’t beat it. I was okay with the dot size today, but it wasn’t as quick to pick up as a 3.25 sized dot.

Finally a 1911 that won't drag your britches down.

Nice, I’ve only seen their 10mms with RMR.

I think Springfield's 10mm TRP pistol(s) with the factory mounted RMR (5" & 6" long slide) has been discontinued and the MC Operator line must be taking its place in the line-up.
The path of least resistance will seldom get you where you need to be.
