Hoping for a response before the lock.
Yes, sir. My status rose. When the owner has had an item "too long", he asked me if I'm interested in a deal, and I say maybe if the price is right. I bought a 99% gen 4 Glock 22 in the box for $325 out the door. If he doesn't sell a PX4 compact 40, I'll get this pistol for $250 out the door. It too is in great condition. I still have the Governor and am hoping to trade it to another old guy who has a 98% Belgian Browning Auto 5 16 gauge. I'll even give him $25 to boot. If this trade doesn't happen, I plan to contact a certain pretty girl in Missouri and offer her the Governor for her Security-Six if she'll pay shipping both ways plus $100. Life is good.

The Catholic priest at my church CCWs a Taurus .380 and has a Judge for home defense. Are these great options? Nope, but it's still better than nothing, and I am glad to have him on our side.
I would go to Confession and explain that I have sinned for having a Judge. See what penance you are given. Talk him out of it!! I appreciate the attitude. I know folks who bought a Judge for the ultimate car/truck gun. They are also folks who never practice or train.

The Pope is infallible in gun choice. Thus, share this link:

So a G19 or Sig would be the way to go according to Vatican.

They’re mercs. Don’t they furnish their own tools for the job?

No, they are recruited from the Swiss Army and a legit force, IIRC.

Well, they started off (late 1400s) as mercenaries since Swiss mercenary units were much in demand at the time. Later they were turned into a purely ceremonial guard until the attempted assissination of John Paul II when they regained their combat status.
