Self Defense from Vehicles - Class?

I'd like to find a self-defense from vehicles class. Ideally it would combine driving and use of a pistol. Does such a thing exist?

I think (in my pea brain) this is different than what I've seen as available vehicle tactics classes with an AR. As just a dude it is unlikely I'll have an AR with me... Also, I'm guessing this is different than a police officer might need. Maybe some AR stuff thrown in as a secondary, but not primary.

I'm thinking I could probably find an EVOC class, but that is only one portion of the equation.

And, as usual, I don't want to have to drive through Chicago to get to the class...

    happy shooting, Jerry

P.S. I searched for "car" (too short) and vehicle without getting what I was looking for.

Steve Fisher has classes with pistol work from cars. He's on the forum.

VCAST from Southnarc was very applicable to regular people. You'd need to have ECQC as a pre-req but that's not a bad thing.
    Think for yourself. Question authority.

Keep in mind that any Vehicle Tactics class will be different if it is a .Mil/PSD/LE/Individual

Weapons, Threats, RoE/UOF, and the resultant tactics are extremely different, and certain classes while they could be fun, would be utterly irrelevant.

Yeah, when I took VCAST it was one of those courses were I got an idea of how much I don't know about what I don't know.

Does anyone teach a combined driving/vehicle combatives class? Those are two very different skillsets. That said, if anyone is going to teach a combined course of that type it is probably BSR - http://www.bsr-inc.com/ - They have both firearms training and drivers training at their facilities. I don't think they teach a combined driving/shooting course though.

Instead, I would think VCAST from Shivworks + Accident Avoidance & Evasive Driving from BSR would give you the skills you want.
