here is my new issue. Really nice bone stock trigger with my home jobber hacks. The orange will probably be short lived out of a 7360/7378.

You would be surprised. I have been using Ameriglo Bold sights for more than a year now in my 7360 and its holding up just fine. Im actually pleasantly surprised.

I've seen plenty of people (some of whom I genuinely respect) say they don't mind the cut out, but I'm pretty sure I've never seen it enthusiastically embraced. Just wanted to confirm it wasn't a typo or something.

I'm 1,333 rounds into my Gen 5 Glock experience with a pair of G45's. One is at 554 rounds and the other is at 779 (I've also got 573 Beretta rounds and a few hundred .22 rounds in the mix as well) since Jan 1 of 2019. Zero malfunctions or stoppages (as expected). I find them both more accurate and flatter tracking with an easier to manage trigger than my Gen 4 17's. Magwells also make for faster reloads. I see no downsides and have zero complaints.

I'm not crazy with the "drive the dot" sight picture on the Gen5's. The front sight for the BOLD's is .200". The BOLD front sight for the Gen4's is .180". Does anyone know if I install a .180" front sight on my Gen5 if it will change the POA/POI to the tip of the front sight blade? Or will it make the POI too high?

Depends on the rear height. .256 Ameriglo rear hits just below tips of blades with .180 front at 25yds.

I believe (emphasis on believe) that a 42/43 front sight is .190, that may be what you seek.
Look! Just because we're bereaved, that doesn't make us saps!

Thank you both, I appreciate it. Looks like the BOLD rear sight is .267.
