I took these photos between races. Ran a ~7.5 mile biathlon last Friday and tomorrow I'll do another 10k at Rockcastle.
That'll put this rifle at 125 miles in biathlons.

Lots of good general 223 information.
Different rifles (barrels) vary. I have a Savage BVSS Model 12 1-9 that shoots 77s sub moa and 80s 1.5 MOA at 100 yards - the BVSS 1-9 seems to shoots 40s to 80s but certainly prefers 55s and 60s. One of my 1-9 ARs shoots 77s into a 4 inch group at 100. I have a couple of 1-8s (Savage Bolt and a Bergara AR barrel) that shoots 77s fine. (all these are 223 or 556)
