Good thing that the kicker did not know what he was doing. It turned out to be just a big shove. A properly excicuted side kick can break a mans back.

A total fail for his security detail. Seconds before the attack, I noticed the closest guard (in the video) seemingly watching the ceremonies and smiling instead of watching Arnies back. Security 101- watch all possible directions of approach for potential threats.
It is fortunate that the attacker appeared to have picked up his skill set from Jackie Chan movies and apparently didn't know how to actually transfer energy to his target. Even so, if he had hit Arnie another foot to the right, we may very well have had a different outcome.
That's elderly abuse. I wonder if politicians realize their not as protected as they think they are.
