Bill, is that a Model 15 or that rare bird, a 4" Model 14?

    Just a plain ol' 19.
In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.” ― C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man

19 was originally the “Combat Magnum” not the “Combat Masterpiece” - the “Combat Masterpiece” is what became the Model 15.

    Oh okay.

My 2" Model 15. Shot it at the Revolver Round up in Dallas a few days ago. Now wearing some Spegel boot grips instead of the John Hurst ones:

This one is a replacement for my first one that I bought brand new in 1975 for $135 and stupidly sold. Paid quite a bit more for the replacement.

The first indication a bad guy should have that I'm dangerous is when his
disembodied soul is looking down at his own corpse wondering what happened.

    That's a Model 15.

I was at a gun show today that had a 4" on the table that had a tag that said Model 14. The guy behind the table didn't seem to know what it was.

The 4” M15 was issued by my work in the ‘70s. One was used in the last OIS we had in about ‘79. There were a couple of M18s in inventory when I started in ‘81 that we’re used for training. All were destroyed in the early ‘90s. Wish they could have had loving homes instead...

Was the 4 inch model 14 issued by LAPD?
