    Who makes ammonia based cleaners now?

    Didn’t they take the ammonia out of Hoppes years ago ?

    Bore Tech Eliminator is what I use.
    No ammonia and works really well.

    Chrome lined barrels don't need to be cleaned that often. Run a bore snake every few thou' if it makes you feel better unless you start getting 4" groups at 50 yards or something.
