Channeling my inner John Milner, “F1 has been going downhill ever since Colin Chapman died.”
Call me when someone besides Ferrari or Mercedes-Benz shows up to actually win.

Good qualifying session in Bahrain.
Renault way off the pace. Nice job by Ferrari - 1-2 wow. 6th and 8th for Haas too. Will be an interesting race tomorrow.
tough to watch Leclrec go down like that.
What's up with Renault? Both dying simultaneously...ouch...

Just watched the Netflix special, and now I'm getting into F1 for the first time. I guess it helps having some working knowledge of the teams and drivers.
It hurt to see Leclerc lose that way.
How much longer is Williams going to stay viable?

Williams is viable? When's the last time they won?

Wow. Tough day for the Red cars. Still, to finish first first you must finish, as they say.
Looking forward to China in a couple weeks.

Race 1000 weekend at Shanghai coming up.
Looks like another MBZ season with a toss up between Bottas and Hamilton so far.
Max is in with a chance and the Red Cars should do well (if they don’t break).
As Martin Brundle said, it’s not Eau Rouge at Spa, but turn 2 and 3 have an interesting elevation change. Will be interesting to see how they handle that on the first lap with relatively cold tires.
