I feel for y’all who are fighting with Sig “engineers” on the mag catch craziness. I had an order in for a Legion 226 SAO and it kept getting delayed. I finally canceled it and after seeing all the issues am glad I did. I grew up shooting an older P220 (heal clip mag release) and P225. Wanted a Sig for the collection but I’ll wait until I see a nice used one that says “Made in W. Germany” on it.

I don't know what the deal is with the new mag catch but I cannot imagine a situation where incompatibility with Mec-Gar 18 rounders is going to help sales agency or otherwise. My 226 Legion SAO is a rock solid, accurate, slick and it tracks very well it has become my go to carry gun. It like it so much i just picked up another one but if it shows up and will not work with my pile of 18 round mags it is not going to stay around.
