It's not mine. Mine does not have an RMR cut. This is the only one I have seen like this so far and I believe Wilson will not do this to their own pistol (yet?). Nighthawk Custom did this work on someone else's EDC X9, I am just sharing the photo here. I do agree though, it looks AWESOME!!

This is the one I saw on 1911forum and the trijicon mount, which is meant for a round top slide looks horrible on a tri top. I bet there’s not much contact area under the mount too. I wonder what front sight NH used, since the x9 front sight is proprietary

    Attachment 36980
    Attachment 36981

I have a rmr mounted on a colt using the trijicon mount, installed by nighthawk, and it’s great

That’s a good question and something I hadn’t thought about. I am not sure what sight combo that is that NH used.

    Goddamnit.

Nighthawk and Wilson are 40 minutes from my house.

The new IOS optic cut they do is extremely tempting.

Will it work on the x9.

I am not sure, but that IOS optic cut is pretty cool. For a build, I was thinking Nighthawk Firehawk, double stack, 9mm, with IOS optic cut and full hard chrome or full DLC. Dunno if they can do the Firehawk as a double stack though, but damn.. that'd be a sweet build!!

That's me but for different reasons. I have several thousand rounds through my EDC X9 and I while I love how it shoots, even with the large backstrap and long trigger it is just too small for my meat hooks. I wish it was the size of the full size 1911 or my SAO P226. I understand the entire point was to make it G19 sized but....it is accurate, concealable, immensely shootable but just a touch too small for me.
