Excellent, thanks for the information.
I can use the gauges for my for my big armorer box, always good to have a set.
ETA: Is there a particular length you gents recommend I order to go with the rail?

So my Beretta 1301 Tactical short rail showed up today from Brownells.
It's plastic. Sigh.
Oh please, oh please - sumbody sell me a metal one before my shotgun class in November.
This one on November 12th:

And I'll be using an Aimpoint Micro, probably an H-1.
Just tell me how much to make the check out for.
I just re-read that thread, it looks like there will be at least four 1301's in that class. I'm planning on bringing eight or ten types each of slugs and buckshot as well, so we can get some more data on ammo preferences.
My 1301T arrived today, and it was quick work to install the Nordic magazine extension kit, Tom's bikini button guard and a Limbsaver pad. Hopefully I can get to the range in the next week or two to wring it out.
It reminds me very much of my first upland game gun from back in the early 90s - a Beretta A303 with a 24" barrel and an English stock. (I still have it.) It has that same light, lively feel - the handling is nowhere near as ponderous as an 870 or my 590A1!
