Thought you would appreciate this article: One group meeting to ask for more policing. Same neighborhood, same night a different group meeting to reduce enforcement. I don't expect Baltimore Police to be motivated to do anything more than take a report and haul away the injured/dead.

For the cops, sit in your classes where officers who have spent their entire adult lives working 8-10 plus hours a day in neighborhoods, and are then given sensitivity training by some academic specialist on how to understand the communities they have basically lived in for years daily. If is downright pathetically funny at this point. People won't change until they reach rock bottom.....in many cities, when communities reach rock bottom, everyone else stopped caring long before they started to.
