Since I do a lot of standing around with my rifle on call outs (hardly that anymore now that I'm the Commander) I wanted to have a lightweight SBR. v1 was this rifle with a standard MOE forearm and a MOE stock. I added the LWRC ultra compact stock and changed the forearm to the SL version. I also added the K grip and the Noveske 45 degree ambi. The light is temporary until the mini scout body I need comes in. The upper is a BCM lightweight 11.5". I need to weigh it on the scale at work but it's nice and light.

Found this poor abused creature at the LGS. I adopted it and brought it home where I'll nurse it back to health and when it's ready I'll feed it plenty and take it for walks regularly. It's OK SKS, no one is going to hurt you anymore. You are loved.

Interesting, I thought the EXO cover was intended for long gun use. Does it give any advantage on the pistol ?
