    Forgot about those. Yes, they are too long and bend very easily. The big handle they fit was designed to provide torque, and torque is not what you need in this application. But if you use just the bit, manipulated with your fingers, they do work.

    Excellent! Thanks for this.

    I still have my modified sight screw driver. I didnt know the bag trick, and dont recall exactly how I managed it, but didnt lose any parts. I was much younger and had better eyesight. I may have just been able to find the parts if they took off.

    I've done this a couple of times back in the day and it's a pain. The bag tip would have been nice to know.

    I got to the point where I bought 2-3 rear sights with blades of different heights and the just swapped out the entire rear sight group rather than trying to switch blades.
