Much bigger snakes is another.
It's all fun and games with the snake shot, until your snake is like 10-15 feet long.
Or door breeching. I like short guns for that. Needs a stand-off though.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!
Chain saw handles are retarded, and make Baby Odin weep.
They actually would get in the kittening way.
No. Just no.
You hear that? That's Baby Odin, crying in his crib...........................
Heh. Considering I was aiming to go full retard with the mental imagery, despite not having time to photoshop the full horror of a Super Shorty with a chainsaw handle: mission accomplished.
Back to your original point, I'm intrigued by what I've read about the Crye Six12 shotgun. I'm looking forward to seeing if they've actually managed to invent a superior Master Key replacement. Six breaching rounds on tap with a very quick transition to a short-barreled carbine for entry sounds like it could be a winner.

I had not seen that before. I hope it works well if adopted by anybody. In my experience, hooking shotguns to carbines results in two suboptimal weapons.
So I watched one of the videos that was linked to the Crye video, and heard Baby Odin weeping again when I see the live fire range demo on that new Army(?) master key attached to the M4.
Dude shooting the door appears to have no idea that "you're doing it wrong".
