Thread: Appropriate Lubricant for Sig P365 FCU Reassembly?

However, the initial info I provided was misleading. He does not recommend the Super Lube grease I mentioned for the Sig FCU, but just for the slide rails and a couple of other contact points inside the slide.

Attached is a video from Robert outlining his recommendations for lubrication and maintenance intervals on the Sig P320.

I'm certain there will be those who disagree with his opinions. But I will say this . . . . he absolutely knows what he is talking about when it comes to Sig pistols. His workmanship and customer service is outstanding, and in my experience, he provides a better P320 trigger than anyone out there.

For those who prefer not to use grease, Super Lube is also available as an oil. With TEFLON ! https://www.super-lube.com/multi-pur...sol-pump-51600

I'm trying the super lube on my slide for my 1911 which has had some issues closing all the way after a round. I have a new spring for it, but going to try the lube first and see if it helps. I tried Lucas Extreme last range trip on it and it didn't solve it. Will probably be the spring but its worth a shot.

This will be the next gun oil I buy. It may be the last.

Hope you don't live in cold weather. It starts to solidify at 10* F. The pour point is 15*F. Just wanted to throw that out there.

I had not tracked that. It would make Lubriplate FMO-350-AW a better choice, with a -10*F pour point.

Zoro actually has the gallon cans one at a time, rather than in pallets of four:

Considering the cost of gun oils, it isn't that bad when they send you 20% off everything coupons and free shipping for a supply that will still be around when I'm not.

It also doesn't have the "Magic Beans (TM)" additives, which is a plus in my book. Just want to KISS.

I'm a big fan of Lubriplate FMO-350-AW, but I also use a different version of a Super Lube product in cold weather that has a pour point of -54F.

Super lube helped a lot more than the Lucas oil Extreme. Only had 2 instances where the chamber didn't close, so a new spring is still in order. But it went from 12 jams over 50 rounds down to 2 in 50. gun definitely liked it better. cycling was smoother as well.

    Just thought i would update.
