    Big Dog Steel Carnivore

At a USPSA match recently a friend had a Big Dog Steel "Carnivore" competition holster. Looked very interesting.

I ordered one for a 2011 and 320. So far we are thrilled, and my wife has started using it over her GX. They have a lock for security between stages. Very rigid shell. Fast delivery and reasonably priced. They have a Blade Tech hole pattern and we have them on Henning hangars.

I also run a BDS 2011 Carnivore on a Henning T-1000 hanger in LO. I am no Wyatt Earp, but I am very happy with this set up so far.

A guy at my local club has that. He hit the switch on the corner of a table and it broke off. They quickly replaced it for him

After a few range and dry fire sessions with the carnivore, my wife is ready to try using it instead of her GX. She feels like it holds the pistol with no play, side to side, and it accommodates the thumb rest well. I like it for the 2011 as it allows me to hit the grip harder at my initial contact, without worrying about dumping the pistol like I worry about with a race holster.
