My 1903 shoots the 155 Berger well. I can repeatedly hit a steel buffalo at 1130 yards with that load. It's a big target but I'm a bit handicapped with the metallic sights.
    That's quite possible.

Shot a couple 3 shot 1moa groups with 150gr Hornady sp last time out with the A4. Little bigger with 165 gamekings but they were 5 shot groups.

Sorry-not-sorry for the repost, that is a drop-dead gorgeous rifle.

I came ever soooo close to an 03 one time, I just couldn't afford both the rifle and the remaining cost of gas from Tennessee to Louisiana. Would a Mausingfield sitting in a mini-chassis with AI-pattern mags, done up a similar way be halal or haram?

There's the Hornady Vintage Match 168gr ELDM load. It appears specced for Garands, but it might be worthwhile in an '03? I have had good experiences with the equivalent .308 load.

Stock came out a little better. I got some leather die and let it sit overnight. Then did a coat of blood 2 mornings in a row.

I'm not sure yet. I should load some up and see how they shoot.

    Thanks. They sure are
