Not sure on the need for the magwell but trying one out for the first time. Also debating grabbing the adm 12 o clock aimpoint mount to try. Offset has some nice advantages but I've never tried top mount. Waiting on another surefire pro for the light

Picked up this AWB-neutered M17S this afternoon, just because.
First thing was to be-ban the muzzle, then mounted a Romeo 7S I had laying around (because even a SightMark would be better than the "back up" sights they have). Also dug deep into my magazine stash and found my last Thermold from a batch I bought before the AWB to complete the period look...this is the sole survivor that didn't crack it's feedlips.
I'll wind up a K&M Aerospace trigger device and bolt-on top rail, and maybe a few of their other goodies eventually.
Tactical shower door top rail!

About 20 years ago I picked up one of those Bushy imported Edenpine's and went full custom on it. It was a good shooter and the main reason I eventually got rid of it is me and bullpups just don't get along. All AR-180 internally if I remember and quite reliable. Fixing the trigger to be something light and smooth was the thing that always eluded me although I somehow got it to be at least GI level AR performance as I remember. There are lots of things you can do to improve it.

Just finished up my Galil SBR.

My one and only flirtation with bullpups was an M17S I impulse bought at a show in the mid to late 00s. I was still suffering from AWB PTSD and immediately regretted the purchase the first time I had it at the range. It worked fine but I hadn't noticed how unbalanced unergonomic it was until then. I quickly sold it off and forgot about it. Until now.
Now that it looks like there's some aftermarket stuff for them I have to fight off the urge to nostalga shop for another one...
Bad ideas, brilliant execution
My Lord, whatever I done, don't strike me blind for another couple of minutes!
60 rounds through the manually operated 5.56 today.
I’m enjoying this goofy little project gun.
5lbs 10oz including the optic & can.
Same lower, 7.62x39 upper. New Triggertech single stage drop in I just installed. The new trigger works even with milsurp ammo. Occasional sticky extraction with steel cases but smooth as can be with brass cased ammo.
In a sub 5lb gun, 7.62x39 actually has noticeable recoil.
Will switch the Liberty Infinity X can over to a 5/8”x24 for its next range day.
